Petalis
Brand and Product Design
Petalis is a personal project that seeks to revive the ancestral practice of flower pressing, with a more artistic and modern touch. It is a project where nature, design, and crafts converge.
I am the founder and creator of the Petalis brand, its entire product line, services, and E-commerce. Here, I show you the products and services offered; Herbariums, Ink Engravings, Flower Presses, and Workshops where I teach de technique.
HERBARIUMS | Pressed Flower Art
Petalis herbariums are natural and delicate compositions that seek to bring nature into your home. Each one is unique and authentic, made 100% by hand with pressed and dried flowers over a period of two to eight weeks. The creation of a herbarium is a meticulous process that requires a lot of patience, involving the search for plants, their collection, pressing, drying, assembly, and proper identification. The collection in each season is done with great care and respect, choosing only what will really be used.
ENGRAVINGS | Ink + Pressed Flowers
Mixed Technique: Pressed Flowers + Botanical Engravings. An endless array of details are revealed through the engraving of pressed flowers. Perfect imperfections that become visible when one takes the time to stop and look."
